Bobby Approved - AAA Accessibility Level

Boby AAA Logo

Since this page was written I think Bobby started charging for their accesibility validator. They changed their web address and must also have changed their name as I can't find them anymore.

The image is upside-down only because people started hotlinking it from here and I wanted to have some fun. The following links still work:

The W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Checkpoints for Accessibility (Level A, AA, AAA)

Bobby offers a free service that allows users to test web pages for compliance with the W3C's (World Wide Web Consortium) accessibility guidelines.

The Disability Discrimination Act Part III comes into force in October 2004. Websites failing to meet basic W3C guidelines may be open to prosecution. Be sure to validate your new web designer's site with the Bobby Validator before signing a contract.

Follow the link at the top of the page to test your own site for accessibility using Bobby. You can also test the accessibility of our website or any other web designer's site. Enter a page address in their form and press go. On the results page click "view results" to see if your site is accessible. Bobby will also suggest manual checks that can be made in a full accessibility assessment.

The logo above shows that this website has been checked using Bobby and has been shown to conform to W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. level AAA (the highest level). These guidelines describe how to make websites accessible to people with disabilities.
