The W3C is the World Wide Web Consortium. They set worldwide standards and guidelines for internet technologies. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) can be used to set the layout of a site. We have used them on this site as an alternative to tables as CSS makes the site more accessible, faster to download, and better looking.
The logo above shows that this site has been tested using the W3C CSS Validation Service and was found to comply with the international standard for Cascading Style Sheets (Level 2).
You can use the link at the top of this page to validate any Cascading Style Sheets on your existing site or on your hard drive. Type in the address of a page on your site that uses style sheets and the validator will automatically find and validate your style sheet. Visit the W3C pages for all the information you could ever want about CSS style sheets.
